Mr. A and Mr. C met at Curie Elementary School where Mr. A works and Mr. C's children attended. At one point, Mr. C served as PTA President and also assisted Mr. A in his PE instruction.
Erik Andersen
Mr. A is Erik Andersen. Erik is a nationally recognized soccer coach for Albion Soccer Club in San Diego. Erik is also a Physical Education instructor at Marie Curie Elementary. A San Diego State alumnus, Erik earned a degree in Psychology with a minor in Nutritional Science. He has three children who attend Standley Middle School and UC High.
Monte Carroll
Mr. C is Monte Carroll. Monte is an 8th Grade English teacher and the ASB Advisor at Standley Middle School. Monte earned his B.A. at UCSD and has a Master's degree in Education. Mr. C has two sons.
Over many months of sharing similar childhood stories of adventure and fun they came to realize that many of their fondest memories involved making up their own sports and games to pass the summer months with their brothers and friends. What better way to share those experiences than to start a summer day camp together?
